Zach Tecklenburg is KCCI’s assistant news director. He joined the team in January 2020.

Prior to KCCI, Zach worked as an executive producer at KSTP-TV in the Twin Cities. He also spent time as a reporter at KSHB-TV in Kansas City, and KTIV-TV in Sioux City.

Zach is a Drake University graduate and a Humboldt native. In his time off, Zach likes to ride his bike, spend time in the woods, and explore the back roads of rural Iowa.
