Anne is the newest meteorologist to KCCI Stormteam 8. She joins the team from Portland, OR where she forecasted for the last three years. Previously, she worked in Southern Oregon in the town of Medford.

Des Moines marks her return to the Midwest where she grew up. Although she thoroughly enjoyed exploring the PNW, she is a Midwesterner at heart. She hails from just outside Cincinnati, OH and is a proud Ohio University Bobcat where she graduated with a dual degree in meteorology and journalism. Weather has always been her passion - since 2nd grade to be exact! She interned at several stations during college while also working at the local PBS station in Athens, OH.

Apart from her weather career, Anne enjoys tapping into her roots. Her Italian heritage has been a significant part of her life, from her family’s delicious home-cooked Italian meals to venturing to Italy to meet some of her relatives! Her favorite pastime? Writing letters! She loves to send cards to family and friends, and she might be the #1 fan of the United States Postal Service. Anne loves the novelty of a handwritten note, which never goes out of style!

With a new city to call home, Anne is becoming more of an Iowan as she explores its nooks and crannies along with her newly adopted dog Flynn! She loves the local food and coffee scene, (especially the farmer's markets!), and she also enjoys volunteering with the community. As a meteorologist, Anne is passionate about encouraging young girls to enter the STEM field. As she settles into life in the 515, Anne is grateful for her great new co-workers and welcoming viewers! She is excited to be in a new city with a new area to explore.
