We are back to a few active days ahead filled with storm chances. Our first will be this evening, likely after midnight for Central Iowa. Storms will develop in the Dakotas and move into NW Iowa nearing the 10 o’clock hour or so.There is a chance for a storm to become on the stronger side, wind would be a bigger concern overnight, but the widespread chance hangs back into the Dakotas and NE. The storms are gone by daybreak and we dry out.In fact, most of Friday is dry and sunny, but it’s hotter and more humid for Friday. As a front moves through the state on Friday, it will likely spark off more storms by the afternoon/evening. Most of that activity will likely be south and east of the metro. Some of those storms could also be on the stronger side.We get a break on Saturday with dry weather, but it remains humid through the weekend. Sunday starts off dry, but another wave of energy is poised to move in by afternoon/evening and we will likely be dealing with some more storms by Sunday night.
