Scott Carpenter joined KCCI in December of 2020. He anchors weekend mornings and is a general assignment reporter on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Scott joins KCCI after spending three years in Columbus, Georgia covering sports. Most recently, he was a Sports Director in the heart of the Southeastern Conference, but he’s excited to be back in the Midwest.

Scott was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio. A suburb just outside Columbus. He studied Media and Communication at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio.
