Iowa defensive lineman comments on involvement in sports gambling investigation

Friday, at Iowa media day, defensive lineman Noah Shannon said he didn't have an update on the sports gambling investigation.He said he is waiting to hear his fate from the NCAA.The senior was the only player not "exposed" in the sports gambling investigation.Shannon admitted his involvement in it by opting out of Big Ten media days.Shannon's teammates chose him to represent the Hawkeyes in Indianapolis, but he said he didn't feel it was right.
