Wildfires caused significant damage to the island of Maui in Hawaii on Wednesday, killing multiple people, destroying hundreds of structures and leading to the delay of flights to and from the island.
The historic town of Lahaina was engulfed in flames and smoke. Vehicles, homes and trees have become nearly unrecognizable.
