How you can see presidential candidates at the Iowa State Fair
Many presidential hopefuls will use this year's Iowa State Fair as a campaign stop.
At least a dozen candidates seeking the Republican nomination will appear with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds in her new Fair-Side Chats at JR's SouthPork Ranch.
Thirteen candidates, including two Democrats and one Libertarian, are scheduled to give speeches at the Des Moines Register's Political Soapbox, located on the Grand Concourse.
Former president Donald Trump said he'll be at the fair on Saturday, Aug. 12, but won't have a Fair-Side Chat, nor will he appear on the Register's Soapbox.
President Joe Biden has not announced plans to attend the fair.
