The Iowa Hawkeyes are among the teams who received votes in the preseason USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll but will start the 2023 season unranked.Two-time defending national champion Georgia tops the poll, which was released Monday, with 61 first-place votes, followed by Michigan (zero first-place votes) and Alabama (4). Ohio State (1) and LSU round out the top five. Georgia received 1,643 total points, based on 25 points for first place through 1 for 25th.
