Country music is king at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand, according to the latest ticket sales data for this year's series of concerts. Country superstar Eric Church tops the list of sales as of Monday, Aug. 7, with 16,850, followed closely by The Chicks (16,500). Church and special guest Jackson Dean play the fair's biggest stage on Sunday, Aug. 13, and The Chicks and special guest Ben Harper play Saturday, Aug. 19.The largest crowd since the Grandstand was renovated in 2018 was for Chris Stapleton in 2021, a show that drew 17,320. Country superstar Eric Church tops the list of sales as of Monday, Aug. 7, with 16,850, followed closely by The Chicks (16,500). Church and special guest Jackson Dean play the fair's biggest stage on Sunday, Aug. 13, and The Chicks and special guest Ben Harper play Saturday, Aug. 19.
