More rain possible this week
Most of Iowa continues to dry out heading into Monday evening.
The handful of small showers drifting across the state right now should subside later this evening, leaving quiet, partly cloudy skies overnight.

Tuesday comes with another slim chance at rainfall. A couple weak disturbances will ripple overhead during the day, spawning isolated showers, especially in southwest Iowa. Most of us will see some sunshine, though. Temperatures should climb back up into the low 80s.
Late Tuesday night, a more robust weather system comes from the west. Showers and storms will spread into Iowa during the wee hours of Wednesday morning, then remain scattered about into the day. Stronger storms will likely stay down in Missouri, and rainfall won't be on the scale of this past weekend. The heavier rain should fall mainly in southern Iowa, and totals look under 1" right now.
Thursday's a dry day with 80s, then another shot at storms comes late Thursday night into Friday morning.
