A man is hospitalized in critical condition after a crash on Interstate 235 Saturday afternoon.Des Moines police say a pickup truck going westbound lost a tire near the 31st Street bridge. The tire then went over the median and hit an unnamed 44-year-old man, knocking him off a motorcycle.The motorcycle then slid onto the shoulder and caught fire.Police say no other injuries were reported in the crash.
