A drier day Thursday with some fog development in the morning
Rainfall totals today were plentiful from West Central Iowa down into Southern Iowa. Totals ranged from half an inch, to upwards of 5-6 inches in some towns. The rain has come to an end tonight and we will see a mix of clouds this evening. There is the possibility we see some fog Thursday AM.

The clouds are exiting Southeastern Iowa tonight. Some clouds will remain tomorrow and there will be a slight chance for a pop-up shower or storm, but I think most will stay dry. Temperatures will get warmer, with highs reaching the mid 80s. The humidity is still there and will be with us through the end of the week.
Our next chance for a storm is late Friday into Friday evening, and then again on Saturday. We may have a few lingering showers/storms into the day on Sunday. Next week continues to bring cooler weather to the front half of the week.
Weather Outlook:
- Rain ends tonight.
- Some fog development by tomorrow morning.
- Warmer day Thursday.
