Close Up: 50th annual RAGBRAI ride showcases the best of Iowa

In this episode of Close Up, we take a look back at the 50th annual RAGBRAI ride, which kicked off July 23 in Sioux City and wrapped up Saturday in Davenport.This year's ride was marked by extreme heat, with many riders opting to get started well before sunrise each day to avoid the midday sun. We'll show you the behind-the-scenes effort by Polk County Emergency Management to keep riders safe.Highlights along this year's ride included a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at Water Works Park in Des Moines, biking through both Jack Trice Stadium in Ames and Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City and plenty of small-town stops that showcased the heart and soul of the state.
