These are the 37 charges Trump faces in the federal indictment
The federal indictment charging former President Donald Trump with mishandling classified documents was unsealed Friday afternoon.
The indictment outlines Trump's efforts to move boxes of classified documents from the White House to his Mar-a-Lago residence, hiding them throughout his Florida estate, including in a bathroom, ballroom, office and bedroom, in order to keep the documents away from his lawyers, the FBI and the grand jury.
Waltine Nauta, a former personal aide to Trump, was also named in the indictment as a co-conspirator, detailing Nauta's active assistance in concealing the documents for Trump, as well as making false statements to law enforcement.
Additionally, the indictment highlights how Trump discussed a Pentagon "plan of attack," and that he shared a classified map related to a military operation with associates.
