Iowa State Fair Archives: The Last Supper butter sculpture
People aren't willing to wait in line this long for very much 42° of cool, that's *** lot of butter, about £2,000 of it, wow is right and people are waiting in line for up to 15 minutes just to catch *** glimpse of it after 40 years of building cattle and just about everything else out of butter. Duffy Lyon has crafted *** true crowd pleaser. It's definitely her her most amazing work that she's ever done. She really, really outdid herself this year, it's fantastic. It took Duffy and four helpers about two weeks to mold jesus and his 12 disciples dining for the last time out of the margarine substitute in Da Vinci's famous painting, the last supper jesus is in the middle and the disciples are on either side, but Duffy didn't necessarily like that. So she came up with her own design, it's just too posed to me, this was more like it should be according to Duffy, jesus is more like, he should be too, I made him younger, made them with short hair. There's *** picture at home, I like Duffy obviously thinks it's pretty cool to or she wouldn't have been doing this for 40 years and judging by the size of this line, Duffy's last supper, maybe her coolest creation yet I just thought it would be something to do on an anniversary
