Stop what you're doing, take a couple deep breaths and allow this peaceful video of sunrises to take you to a calmer place.
The truth is you may not have time to fully detach, but everyone can find 60 seconds in the day to center themselves. It can be done anywhere, anytime and we've created this video to help you do it.
But how effective is 60 seconds? In a piece for mindbodygreen.com, renowned Breathwork teacher Ashley Neese said, "Lengthening your exhales is the fastest way to calm the mind, soothe the nervous system, and balance emotions. Take a long, deep breath through your nose. Exhale out of your nose two to three counts longer than your inhalation. Repeat in this manner for 60 seconds. Notice how peaceful and calm you feel after the practice."
Simple enough, right? Take 60 seconds to step away from your never-ending to-do list and reclaim your peace. Now enjoy.
