Kalyn Norwood
White House CorrespondentKalyn Norwood is Hearst Television’s White House Correspondent. She joined the company’s Washington Bureau in July 2022.
Norwood, an Emmy award-winning journalist, came to Washington D.C. from Albuquerque, where she worked as an Anchor/Reporter at KOAT, covering the state of New Mexico. She helped lead the station’s election coverage, as well as President Biden’s visit to the state. She joined KOAT from KVUE in Austin, Texas, where she covered a wide range of stories in the state’s capital from politics to the Austin bombings, George Floyd protests, and the COVID-19 pandemic. She began her professional career as a Weekend Anchor/Reporter at KEZI in Eugene, OR.
Norwood graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and Rice University with a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
